Welcome to my blog, my name is Renée, and I created Business Anthropi in 2019. I was keen to start a blog that inspired, informed and combined my passion for business with the reasons why so many sole business owners followed their dreams in life.

I try to focus primarily on the business and the business owner, rather than the products or services they may offer.

Growing up, I have always been surrounded by family who are in business or who have a small business, so this field was embedded in me from a young age. I recall as a four-year-old, my mother taking me to business meetings and having to sit quietly in the room while she conducted her business. Watching these meetings and my mum running her businesses made me curious to understand why people started or ran their own business.

I love meeting new people and getting to know the person and the face behind their business.

As a second-year student who is studying business, my journey of freelance writing and meeting new people in business have both come together in this blog. I continue my passion for reading, and I extend myself to read from varying authors and genres to fantasy to dystopian to business-focused; it not only grew my love for reading but also improves my passion for writing.
